Ceramics Course

An introductory course on Modeling and Basic Techniques for beginners. This covers slab work, coiling, and various slab decorating techniques. There’s also an opportunity to learn how to make whistles.

An advanced level for continuing students is structured as follows:

1st, 2nd lesson: Construction of a plaster mold and a latex mold (4 hours per lesson);

3rd, 4th lesson: Working with colored clays using oxides, agate technique, mosaic, etc.;

5th, 6th lesson: Slip casting and molding clay into the mold built in the first lessons.

Learn to produce and formulate glazes and slips directly from raw materials.

Raku Course

For spring/summer, we’re organizing courses in:

  • Naked Raku
  • Soft Raku
  • Mapuche Raku (with fresh leaves)
  • Smoke Firing (with sawdust)
  • Terra Sigillata

The courses take place in a beautiful woods, immersed in nature.
